In 1991, Lyman Allyn Art Museum selected Mark to be a participant in The Artist Sees New London, featuring 300 works by a variety of artists spanning two centuries. Two of Mark’s large-scale paintings were chosen; one serving as a banner piece and another as lead-in for televised coverage of the exhibit. In 1995, Mark was one of 61 artists selected by Juror David Pease, Dean, Yale University School of Art for The Connecticut Open at Real Art Ways Gallery in Hartford, and one of 58 artists selected by Juror Cora Rosavear, Associate Curator, Museum of Modern Art, to show at the Faber Birren National Color Award Show at the Stamford Art Association.
